Mark Zuckerberg Launches His Camera App

Today, Facebook has finally revealed its purpose for buying Instagram in early April. It's a Camera app called..  can you guess? It's Facebook Camera, duh. But aren't there too many of those already? For its features and differences from other camera apps read more below.

Looking it up, the Facebook Camera seems to boast its sharing capabilities through Facebook. Signing in is easy with your facebook account and is the first thing you need to do after launching the app. The interface is simple and very similar to Facebook's app and I think its a smart decision for them. The similar interface should eliminate most user's confusion from navigating the app. Taking pictures is as easy as saying 1, 2, 3 and is delivered with a big camera button. After a shot, you will be taken to the result and photos will be shared to your Facebook profile directly.

So far, I think it's only a litlle bit different than any regular camera app you can find in the App Store. There's no third party camera apps that can do this already and I can say I'm quite confused. I didn't see any kind of integration between Instagram and the Facebook Camera. So, yes, no Instagram filters there, maybe in future updates. If you want to check them out the app yourself, you can download them now for free at Apple's App Store.
